Things are warming up on Sutcliffe Road. We have had to relocate our sledding play to the front yard in the shadows of the Pine stand. Our other hill is melting.
I have started to clean up flower beds from leftover debris and have even done some pruning and vine removal on the back hill. I am beginning to envision the transformations in store for this place. Orchard on the plateau up the back hill, hollyhocks spreading up the hill into the woods behind the silo. Where will the Alpine strawberries go?
Move the compost piles into bins and build a chicken coop in the shadow of the front pines. I want to connect the chicken coop with the garden so the chickens can go in the garden from time to time to eat bugs. Chickens. That will be fun.
Pumpkins. Lots of pumpkins and butternut squash. Espen and Zephyr will have to be fully on board with me because there will be a lot of work to do. I have a feeling they will love it.
It's really beautiful here.
