Each Spring we reclaim the homestead from the
onslaught of the previous Winter.
I rake and rake and rake. Returning the gravel back to the driveway
is the most challenging, physically and mentally.
A walking meditation.
The gentle raking of twigs and branches under the pines is a loving act. Refreshing and renewing.
Today even the Garden loft/Garage gets a shake out. Empty it all out. Rediscover toys not seen in a few months
and resolve to scrub them all down tomorrow.
A thing of beauty.
Daffodils establishing themselves along our
sweet, old, wrought iron fence.
So delicate.
